Best Youth Ministry Games

by Derek 2 Comments

I want to share with you my favorite book of games and mixers for student ministry.

But before I tell you, let me first qualify my recommendation.

A Lot of Games

I’ve worked in student ministries for 14 years and have seen my fair share of games and mixers. I’ve scoured game websites. I’ve purchased several books of game ideas. I’ve downloaded mixer apps for my iPhone. I’ve attended professionally programmed camps and conferences. I’ve made up many of my own games. And so, when I applaud and exuberantly recommend this book, that’s saying something!

Count Me In

So what’s the book? It’s Count Me In by Mark Collard. You won’t find a better book for games and mixers…assuming you can find this one.

You would never find this book via typical means. A specific search for “count me in” won’t even surface the book in the search results on Amazon.com. Even searching “count me in mark collard” doesn’t generate an auto-complete option. You won’t find it on simplyyouthministry.com, nor at Youth Specialities or on conference tables. And even if you did happen to come across it, the cover would not likely induce you to buy it. Not to mention, who’s Mark Collard?

But that’s why I’m telling you!

This book is a hidden treasure! If you’re looking for some thoughtful games and mixers, check out Count Me In. It’s expensive but worth it.

These games truly work. These are not just games somebody came up with for a book. The activities are tried and true.

The games in Count Me In work. So pick up a copy today.

Purchase on Amazon: Count Me In: Large Group Activities That Work.
