Hobo Theology 2022

by Derek Leave a Comment

Thank you for reading! And thank you for contributing to the conversation!

Hobo Theology is all about the journey of learning. Knowing God and his Word is a never-ending, joy-filled journey of discovery and transformation.

But this journey goes best with others in community in dialogue. Your involvement, your readership and comments, helps us all see what we would not have seen by ourselves. Plus, it’s just more fun together! So, thank you!

Looking ahead, I am excited about the next year of HoboTheology.com, and I hope the posts and subsequent conversations will be helpful. May we all take a few more steps forward in grace and truth this year!

There are two major series coming your way, Lord willing, this year…

Psalm 103. This Psalm is one of my favorites. It is so encouraging! We will be meditating on it throughout 2022.

Spiritual Disciplines. At Immanuel Church, we spent the fall semester teaching a seminar on Spiritual Disciplines. The disciplines are essential, life-giving habits for Christians. I will share some of the work from that project here.

Just one housekeeping note: The email carrier for HoboTheology has changed, and so anyone who has signed up for the email has been converted to the new carrier. As always, if you find the emails pesky or unwanted, unsubscribe any time.

Grace and peace to you!
